About me

Since my early years, I have been captivated by observing and analyzing human behavior, emotions, thoughts, and physiological responses. This innate curiosity, combined with an enduring interest in philosophy, naturally led me to explore the deeper questions of the human mind.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in Bucharest, Romania, which laid my academic foundation. A clinical internship during this time at CF2 Clinical Hospital Bucharest confirmed my vocation for psychology, inspiring me to pursue advanced studies. Following my graduation, I embarked on a period of personal growth, living and traveling across different countries, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and refining my language skills.
Upon first moving to Berlin, I actively engaged in local volunteer work at Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (German Red Cross), supporting refugees through community integration projects (Hand in Hand / Yadan byad).
My clinical practice is grounded in rigorous academic and professional training. After finishing my Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, and Psychotherapy in Potsdam, I pursued specialized post-graduate qualification at the Berlin Academy for Psychotherapy (BAP). There, I started the psychotherapy training toward becoming a licensed Psychological Psychotherapist, specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Building upon this solid foundation, I will continue my advanced psychotherapy training in Switzerland, having been admitted to PSP-Basel / UPK (Postgraduale Studiengänge in Psychotherapie / Universitäre Psychiatrische Kliniken Basel). Alongside my clinical practice, my objective is to pursue a Ph.D. at a Swiss university to further deepen my academic and research expertise.
Based on my academic qualifications and practical training, I hold official authorization from the Public Health Office in Berlin to practice psychotherapy as a recognized healthcare profession (HPG).

My work experience

Throughout my career, I have accumulated extensive experience in the systemic perspective that focuses as far as possible on maintaining, stabilising and developing the family and social relationships for those in need of assistance.

My professional career began in Berlin, Germany, at Charité ( Clinical Trial Office / formerly KKS ), where I gained foundational experience in a clinical environment. I later expanded my practice in Berlin into outpatient psychiatric care (ambulante Psychiatrie) working with complex comorbidities, as well as specialised psychological interventions including Familienhilfe (family support), JGG (juvenile justice system interventions), Einzelfallhilfe (individual assistance), and Begleiteter Umgang (supervised visitation).
Across my overall practice, I have provided psychological and social support to adults, adolescents, and families from a wide range of internal backgrounds, including Afghanistan, Syria, Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau, Romania (especially with the Roma minority), Moldova, Bulgaria, Portugal, Germany, Brazil, Peru, the USA, and Australia, among others.
I have supported individuals through challenging life situations, including parental mental health or addictive disorders, domestic violence, high levels of conflict, family separation and custody disputes, and other complex relational issues.
Addressing family conflicts, depression, anxiety, trauma, and various mental health conditions has been a central component of my practice, driven by a passion to assist individuals in surmounting obstacles and realising their full potential.
My deep understanding of the systemic approach serves as an ideal basis for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as it seamlessly integrates social and familial contexts into the therapeutic process.

The basis of my psychotherapeutic activity is the highest professional integrity, transparency, and a strong commitment to scientific evidence. I am convinced that effective therapy is only possible in an environment that guarantees clear structures and ethical safety. My passion is to support people in overcoming obstacles, always adhering to these non-negotiable standards.
